We appreciate that our customers have placed trust in us and strive to meet their expectations. Unfortunately, there are instances where a product purchased does not meet expectations, for example due to damages during shipping, wrong item shipped, and size issues. In any of such scenarios, we are dedicated to providing reasonable resolutions to our customers.

2. Return Eligibility Criteria

We process returns for refunds or exchange only in the following cases:

  • Received product is damaged or defective
  • Product received is different from the one ordered
  • Product is different and substantially deviates from the description provided online
  • Part of an order is received
  • Product is marked as not delivered (shipment lost)

Return Timeframe:

  • The return request must be created within 72 hours post delivery.
  • The product must reach us within 7 days from the date of approval of return request.

Product Condition for Return:

In order to qualify for a return, the product must be:

  • In pristine and unused condition
  • All tags, labels, and packaging should be intact
  • Free from alterations, washing or damages by the user
  • Free from any wear and tear

Returns which do not meet such criteria may be accepted but will likely be partially refunded at our discretion.

3. Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Items

Due to special concerns, certain items do not qualify for a return or refund:

Personalized products with a name, message, or size customization
Made to order items
"Final Sale" clearance or sale merchandise
Gift cards or store credits
Promotional products provided without charge
Items rendered unusable owing to careless handling by the purchaser

4. Step-by-Step Return Process

The return process is as easy as possible. Here's what we do:

Instructions & Approval

Within 48 hours, a member of our customer service team will reply.

We will provide instructions and a return shipping address if your return is accepted.

We might provide reverse pickup for qualified locations.

Shipping and Packing

Ideally, keep the item in its original packaging and pack it safely.

Use a trackable courier service if reverse pickup is not an option.

Until the refund is processed, keep the tracking number secure.

Examining and exchanging or refunding

We examine the returned item as soon as we receive it.

If accepted, you can choose between an exchange, store credit, or refund.

5. Available Refund Options

We provide a variety of refund options to accommodate your preferences:

  • A reimbursement to the original payment method
  • If you made a payment through net banking, UPI, or a card, the refund will be processed to the same source
  • Store credit for future purchases
  • Product exchange for a different size or color (subject to availability)

6. Return Shipping Fees

We have a reasonable return shipping policy:

  • We are responsible for the full cost of return shipping if the product is damaged, incorrect, or defective.
  • The customer is responsible for covering the cost of return shipping if the return is made because of a change of heart or an incorrect size order.
  • Unless the entire order is returned because of an error on our part, we do not reimburse the original delivery fees.

7. Cancellations

Before Shipping:

  • As long as the order hasn't been shipped, you can cancel it within 24 hours of placing it.
  • Just send us a message or email with your order number.

After Shipping:

  • Orders cannot be canceled after they are shipped.
  • In these situations, await delivery and start the return process if needed.

Note: Once production has started, custom or made-to-order items cannot be canceled.

8. Defective or Damaged Goods

Please take the following actions in the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged:

  • Within 72 hours of receiving the product, send us an email.
  • Provide crisp pictures of the item, the shipping label, the outer box, and any obvious damage.
  • Depending on the extent of the damage and the availability of the product, we will provide a complete refund, replacement, or store credit.

Additionally, we advise you to record an unboxing video, particularly for expensive items, as this facilitates the speedy validation of damage claims.

10. Variation Notice Regarding Handcrafted Items

Due to the fact that the majority of our products are expertly crafted by hand:

  • There may be slight variations in stitching, texture, size, or color.
  • These are not flaws; rather, they are a reflection of how each item is handmade.
  • Part of the allure of handmade items is their uniqueness; no two are exactly alike.

Unless the deviation is substantial and significantly outside of the acceptable artistic range, returns based on these natural variations will not be accepted.

11. Gifting & Bulk Orders

Our return policies may vary slightly if you're placing a corporate gifting order or ordering items in bulk (more than ten pieces):

  • Only store credit refunds may be available for orders over ₹10,000.
  • Customized tags or packaging on orders are not refundable.

Before placing large or custom orders, please get in touch with our support staff so that we can provide written terms.

12. Policy on International Orders

Due to the intricate logistics of international shipping and customs clearance, international orders are currently final sale and cannot be returned.

But in the event that:

  • Items that were damaged in international shipping
  • The product that was received was completely incorrect

You have 48 hours after delivery to file a complaint. At our discretion, we might provide a replacement, store credit, or a partial refund.

13. Repeated Abuse of Return Policy

Although we are always available to assist, we will not put up with any attempt to abuse our accommodating return policy.

Yashika Handicraft maintains the right to:

  • If a customer has a history of returning items frequently without a good reason, refuse their returns.
  • Accounts suspected of fraud or return abuse should be suspended.
